The Paws in the Park Story

Kyle and Samantha have devoted their lives to the care and well-being of animals and now will continue to do so as the new owners of Paws in the Park.

A love for animals brought Kyle and Samantha together.  When they first started dating, they would talk about how much they would want to start their own dog kennel business, but life got in the way.  Three kids, four pets, two houses and 10 years later they got their opportunity to make those dreams a reality.

Over the past 15years, both Kyle and Samantha have worked at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center as ER/CC veterinary technicians.  Samantha started out as a kennel assistant and soon realized that she wanted to do more.  Through hard work and dedication, she worked her way up to being the supervisor of the emergency and critical care department.  Kyle didn’t stop at just becoming a licensed Veterinary technician. He furthered his professional development and achieved his Veterinary Technician Specialist certification in the field of emergency and critical care.  This is the highest possible level in the veterinary technician profession.

Helping to save the lives of animals is such a rewarding experience but Kyle and Samantha were ready for something new. When Paws in the Park was up for sale, they decided to take a leap of faith.  In October of 2021 they became the proud new owners.
